The Government of Haryana has launched a landmark social welfare scheme titled the Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana (DDLLO). The scheme was formally introduced on 25 September 2025, on the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay. The launch event was held in Gurugram, where Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced the beginning of this initiative.
Purpose and Beneficiaries
The Lado Lakshmi Yojana has been designed to provide financial support to women in Haryana, aiming to improve their quality of life and empower them socially and economically. Under this scheme, every eligible woman will receive ₹2,100 per month directly in her bank account through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). In the first phase alone, around 20 lakh women across the state are expected to benefit, with the government allocating ₹5,000 crore for its implementation in 2025-26.
Eligibility Criteria
To avail benefits, women must fulfill the following conditions:
- Must be a resident of Haryana (or married into a Haryana family, provided the woman or her husband has lived in the state for at least 15 years).
- Minimum age of 23 years.
- Annual family income not exceeding ₹1,00,000.
- Any number of eligible women in one household can apply, as there is no household limit.

Required Documents
Applicants need to submit:
- Aadhaar Card
- Residence Proof (or husband’s residence proof for married women from outside Haryana)
- Income Certificate
- Bank Account details for DBT
- Family ID
Application Process
The government has simplified the process by introducing a dedicated mobile application for registration. The mobile app is called “Lado Lakshmi App”, developed by HARTRON, through which all applications, verification, grievance redressal etc. for the Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana (DDLLO) are to be handled. Women can download the app, fill in their details, upload required documents, and track the status of their application. This removes the need to visit government offices or Common Service Centres, ensuring transparency and ease of access.
The Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana marks a significant milestone in Haryana’s journey towards women’s empowerment. By ensuring financial independence, the scheme is expected to bring about real change in the lives of lakhs of women across the state.
