Google has officially introduced its latest flagship lineup, the Pixel 10 series, featuring four models—Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Unveiled globally on August 20, 2025, the phones were launched in India a day later, on August 21, making them available for pre-orders immediately through the Google Store and Flipkart.
What’s Special About the Pixel 10 Series
The new series is powered by the Tensor G5 chipset, built on a 3nm process, offering significant performance gains along with AI-driven efficiency. The phones ship with Android 16 and promise seven years of software updates, making them one of the most future-ready smartphones on the market.
Google has embedded its Gemini AI deeply into the Pixel 10 lineup, unlocking features like Magic Cue, which gives contextual suggestions inside Gmail, Calendar, and Messages. Other additions include Camera Coach for photography tips, real-time translation across multiple languages (useful for India’s diversity), and improved voice recognition.

On the hardware front, the Pixel 10 comes with a 6.3-inch OLED display that supports 120Hz refresh rate and reaches 3,000 nits peak brightness, ensuring visibility even under harsh sunlight. The Pro models enhance the camera setup with a 50MP main sensor and telephoto lenses capable of 100x digital zoom. The standout is the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, the world’s first IP68-certified foldable phone, making it resistant to both water and dust—ideal for Indian conditions.
