Maruti Suzuki has officially launched its latest mid-size SUV, the Victoris, in India on September 3, 2025. Positioned between the Brezza and Grand Vitara, the Victoris is designed to take on strong rivals such as the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. Bookings began the same day, with an advance payment of ₹11,000 either online or at Arena dealerships. Deliveries are expected to start around September 22, though the official pricing is still awaited due to GST-related clarity. Industry insiders expect the price to range between ₹13 lakh and ₹20 lakh (on-road).
Under the hood, the Victoris comes with multiple powertrain choices. The lineup includes a 1.5-litre petrol engine (K15C) producing around 103 hp, paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox, with optional all-wheel drive. A CNG variant is also offered, featuring a factory-fitted underbody tank design that helps retain boot space, generating about 88 hp. For buyers seeking fuel efficiency and cleaner technology, Maruti is also offering a strong hybrid powertrain sourced from Toyota, delivering impressive mileage along with an e-CVT transmission.
On the features front, Maruti has made the Victoris one of the most advanced SUVs in its Arena lineup. The model boasts a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating, standard six airbags, disc brakes on all four wheels, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, and Level-2 ADAS with Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, and Emergency Braking.

The cabin gets a premium finish with a 10.25-inch digital driver display and a 10.1-inch SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen with Alexa, OTA updates, and Suzuki Connect features. Luxury touches include a panoramic sunroof, ventilated power seats, wireless charging, ambient lighting, and a Dolby Atmos-enabled 8-speaker system. The exterior styling is equally striking with LED projector headlamps, connected tail lamps, and 17–18-inch alloy wheels.
With its blend of performance, efficiency, and safety, the Maruti Suzuki Victoris is set to redefine the mid-size SUV space. Backed by Maruti’s wide Arena network and attractive feature list, it promises to be a strong contender in one of India’s most competitive segments.
