Maruti has introduced the new Victoris to its Arena lineup, placing it alongside the popular Nexa Grand Vitara. While both SUVs share the Maruti DNA, they are aimed at slightly different buyers.
In terms of pricing, the Victoris is positioned as the more budget-friendly choice, starting at around ₹10.49 lakh (ex-showroom) and topping out below ₹20 lakh for most trims. The Grand Vitara, on the other hand, begins at approximately ₹11.4 lakh and stretches well into the ₹20-lakh bracket, especially for its hybrid and feature-rich variants.

The feel and interiors reflect this gap. Victoris delivers a modern, tech-oriented vibe with features such as a 10.1-inch infotainment system, Dolby Atmos audio (in higher trims), and Level-2 ADAS. It is clearly designed to maximize value at its price point. Grand Vitara leans toward a more premium experience, offering softer cabin materials, a refined design, and Nexa’s upscale showroom feel.
When it comes to AWD and drivetrains, the Grand Vitara stands out with Suzuki’s ALLGRIP system, which includes multiple drive modes like Auto, Snow, Sport, and Lock. This makes it the stronger choice for buyers seeking light off-road or all-weather capability. The Victoris offers a versatile powertrain range — including mild-hybrid, strong-hybrid with e-CVT, and even CNG options — but while AWD is mentioned in some trims, the Grand Vitara’s ALLGRIP remains the more proven system.

For those prioritizing fuel efficiency, both SUVs offer e-CVT strong-hybrid options. The Grand Vitara’s hybrid setup provides smooth performance and class-leading mileage, while Victoris delivers similar benefits at a more affordable entry point.
On the after-sales front, both models enjoy Maruti’s unmatched advantage. With more than 5,000 service centers across India under Arena and Nexa combined, customers can expect easy access to service, affordable maintenance, and wide availability of spare parts.
