Mercedes-Benz India has officially launched the all-new AMG GT 63 4MATIC+ and AMG GT 63 Pro 4MATIC+ models, marking a powerful return of the AMG GT lineup to the Indian market. These high-performance luxury coupes were unveiled on June 27, 2025, with prices starting at ₹3 crore (ex-showroom), and on-road pricing going up to ₹3.5–₹4 crore depending on city and customization.
All-New Design with Added Practicality
Unlike the earlier AMG GT two-door coupe, the new GT 63 and GT 63 Pro feature a 2+2 seating layout, making them more practical for Indian buyers who want daily usability without compromising on style. The coupe styling remains dramatic, featuring a long sculpted bonnet, panamericana grille, muscular rear fenders, and sleek LED projector headlights. The design balances aggression with elegance, perfect for both the racetrack and luxury drives.
Power-Packed V8 Performance
Both models are powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine handcrafted under AMG’s “One Man, One Engine” philosophy. The GT 63 produces 585 hp and 800 Nm of torque, while the Pro variant churns out a higher 612 hp and 850 Nm. These powerful engines are paired with a 9-speed AMG Speedshift MCT gearbox and the AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system.

In terms of speed, the GT 63 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, and the GT 63 Pro is even quicker at 3.1 seconds. Top speeds are electronically limited to around 315–317 km/h, putting them in serious supercar territory.
GT 63 Pro: Built for Track Days
What makes the GT 63 Pro even more special is its track-focused upgrades. This variant comes with advanced cooling systems, larger carbon-ceramic brakes, grippy performance tyres, lighter forged alloy wheels, and an aggressive carbon-fibre aerodynamic kit. It’s aimed at passionate drivers looking for weekend track thrills while still enjoying comfort on regular roads.Luxurious Cabin with Cutting-Edge Tech
Inside the cabin, both variants offer a rich mix of luxury and sportiness. The dashboard hosts a dual-screen setup with a 12.3-inch digital driver display and an 11.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The cabin is finished in Nappa leather, and features include Burmester 3D surround sound system, AMG-specific drive modes, 8 airbags, 64-colour ambient lighting, and electrically adjustable AMG performance seats.

Despite being a performance coupe, the rear seats are usable for kids or occasional luggage, giving it a practical edge over most two-seaters in this segment.
Pricing and Availability
The ex-showroom price of the AMG GT 63 starts at ₹3 crore, while the GT 63 Pro is priced around ₹3.65 crore. On-road prices can vary based on registration costs, insurance, and customizations, with final figures reaching up to ₹4 crore in cities like Mumbai or Bangalore.
Delivery Timeline
According to Mercedes-Benz India, GT 63 deliveries are scheduled to begin from December 2025, and the GT 63 Pro will follow in January 2026. Bookings are now open across select Mercedes-AMG Performance Centres in India.
Key Differences from the Previous AMG GT
The 2025 AMG GT marks a major step forward from the older models sold until 2020. It now comes with all-wheel drive (4MATIC+) compared to the rear-wheel-drive-only layout of the past. It also gains two extra seats, offering a better blend of performance and practicality. The upgraded powertrain, enhanced tech, and improved ride comfort make it a more well-rounded grand tourer.
